Dale Orth

Dale Orth, age 86 of Sacramento passed away April 15, 2026 in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his loving family.

Dale was born in Sacramento, California on February 8th, 1940 to the parents of Barbara Lea Johnson and Lewis Orth. He graduated from McClatchy High School and went on to open Kendale Garage, D.O. Fabrication and T&N Truck Bodies. He married Sandra Stratton May 27th, 1961 and had three children.

He is preceded in death by his parents Barbara Lea Johnson, Lewis Orth and his grandson Johnny Adamson.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Orth, his children Mark Orth, Karen Adamson, Kevin Orth (wife Jennifer) his five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Dales fondest pastime was spending time with his family, tinkering on his hotrods and the love of all things racing. Dale spearheaded a racing team his entire life and was inducted into the Sprint Car Hall of Fame in 2013
