Dale LeRoy Axtell

Dale Leroy Axtell, 95 of Elk Grove, California went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2024. He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Beverly Jean Axtell (Rouse), his father Arthur Axtell, his mother Gladys Van Sant, brother Calvin Axtell, and dear friend June Keen. Lovingly remembered by his daughters and sons-in-law Gale and Willie Cole of Waynesville NC, Penny and Nick Quinn of Elk Grove CA, Janel and Danny Lamm of Plymouth CA, and Kim and Mike McVean of Elk Grove CA, and his grandchildren Robert Parris, Rich Lozano, Jared Lozano, Daryle Lozano, Megan Stinson, Lisa Phillips, David Hatch, Bradley McVean, and Alec McVean as well as multiple great grandchildren.
He was born on May 9,1929 in Fairbury Nebraska and moved to Sacramento CA when he was 7 years old. He dedicated 42 years working at the Campbell Soup Company. He enjoyed watching sports, going to the casino, and spending time with family and friends and was a member of Creekside Christian Church for many years.
He was a beloved father, husband, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 11:00-12:00 at Creekside Christian Church (Venue) 8939 East Stockton Blvd. Elk Grove, CA with a reception following the service.
