Cristina Zayda Ruiz

Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend received her angel wings at her home surrounded by loved ones on January 27th, 2023. She is survived by her sons Victor, Ilich, Carlos, and Cristian, and grandchildren Tatiana, Carlos, Alyssa, Carlisse, Michael, Jordan, Matthew, Camilla, and Desmond.

Cristina was a loving soul that dedicated many years of her life to the healthcare profession. To say she was selfless would be an understatement. Cristina loved her family and always put her family and the care of others first. If you ever had the pleasure of knowing her - then you know you were one of the lucky ones. Cristina's infectious laughter, love of life and family, dancing, and good music will be missed by all.

She was courageous until the very end. She was a fighter, no question about that. Life will be difficult without her, but we find comfort in knowing she is in a better place, free of pain and suffering.

There aren't enough words to describe the remarkable woman she was and the light she brought into everyone's life. Until we meet again, rest in peace.

Cristina will be laid to rest on February 13th, 2023.
