Cleo Maine Brown passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, in Sacramento, California. Born in 1933, Cleo lived a life rich with love, determination, and deep devotion to her family.
Cleo was a remarkable woman whose strength and independence shaped everything she touched. She built a highly successful career in real estate through hard work, confidence, and perseverance, taking pride in creating a life of stability and opportunity for herself and those she loved.
Family was the center of Cleo’s world. She found her greatest happiness in being surrounded by the people she loved—cooking meals that became memories, hosting gatherings that filled her home with laughter, and creating traditions that will live on for generations. Her door was always open, her table always full, and her presence always comforting.
She is lovingly survived by her beloved brother Gilbert Macon, her daughters, Cynthia Eck and Sherrie Meyers; her grandchildren, Joshua Cabral, Jacob Cabral, Caitlynn Berry, and Jewelia Eck; and her great-grandchildren, Calvin Berry and Paelynn Berry, who brought her immense joy and pride.
Cleo will be remembered for her generous heart, her warmth, and the quiet strength that guided her through life. Though she is deeply missed, the love she gave so freely remains, woven into the lives of her family and carried forward in their memories.
May she rest in peace, surrounded by love, and remembered always.
