âGrannyâ was born March 14,1938 , to her mother Litta V. Humphreys and father Claude K Jenkins. Claudette was educated in the Oakland Public School system. Claudette was the first black women to work at Nabisco Wheat. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, traveling, casinos and having a good time with family and friends. Her family remembers her as the life of the party. She loved uplifting people around her always saying kind words to other an bringing life and positive energy. Claudette was preceded in death by her father Claude K. Jenkins, her mother Litta V. Humphreys, her husbandâs Lavada Robins George E. Towns, and her grandson Jermaine Anderson. Claudette passed peacefully in her home with her family by her side on Saturday April 16, 2022. She leaves to cherish her memory her 10 children Amelia Henderson, Deanna Moore son-in-law Tony Moore, Laverne Anderson, Claude Robins daughter-in-law Brenda Robins, Craig Robins daughter-in-law Sharon Robins, Lavada Jay Robins, Litta Towns, Cameron Towns, Ceontae Towns daughter-in-law Donna Towns, and Charles Towns. She was blessed with 25 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. As well as a host of other relatives and friends. She will live forever in the hearts of family and friends.
