Chivas Dornell Henderson passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 45, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness that will forever be etched in the hearts of all who knew him.

A devoted father, cherished son, caring brother, loving uncle and true friend, Chivas had a gift for making others feel seen, valued, and uplifted. His warmth, quick wit and loving spirit touched countless lives, leaving a trail of smiles and heartfelt memories.

Chivas valued quality time with friends and family, frequently engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking and biking, taking weekend getaways to the lake or ocean, celebrating holidays, and watching and competing in sports. Throughout his life, Chivas was actively involved in athletics, particularly excelling in basketball, an interest he proudly shared with his sons. He’s also known by friends and family as an amazing cook and a skilled maintenance supervisor and dedicated painter.

He was acknowledged for his exceptional work ethic and commitment, consistently displaying careful attention to detail and striving for excellence in all his endeavors. He also prioritized imparting these values to his sons and those close to him.

Chivas will mostly be remembered for his sense of humor, his ability to uplift those around him, and setting a positive environment with his jokes and laughter. He brought a sense of warmth, comfort, and security to his family members and friends that will be dearly missed.

A memorial service to honor Chivas’s life will be held on Friday, September 5th, at 10 a.m. at:
