Charlotte Cosulich, age 75, passed away on Monday, December, 2, 2024 at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento after a short illness. Charlotte was born on November 18, 1949 in Denver, Colorado to Ursula Cosulich and Gilbert Cosulich, both deceased.
Charlotte attended local schools and graduated from the University of the Pacific in Stockton. Charlotte worked as a Associated Transportation Planner for over 30 years with the California, Department of Transportation. Charlotte loved horses and followed horse racing closely. She had the opportunity to travel to the East Coast several times to see the Kentucky Derby. She was also a world traveler, and loved reading and classical concerts and also played Mahjong. Charlotte loved writing children’s books and published two books, The Far Turn and Dreamy Safari.
At Charlotte’s request, there will be no services. However, friends are working to schedule a celebration of life in her honor at a later date. Donations on her behalf can be made to the Sacramento County Animal Shelter or the Sacramento Zoo.
