Carol was called home on May 28th, after a long and full life serving God and her loving family. Carol was a strong woman. She took pride in helping others, particularly by strengthening their relationship with Christ. She was a talented artist and was fond of using that talent to beautify fine china or old furniture. Whether she was dealing with a garden, some fabric, or another person’s soul, she took pride in leaving everything more beautiful than she found it. Many of the forest critters around her mountain home slept with fuller bellies year-round because of Carol’s fondness for caring for God’s creatures. They were lucky to have her, we were lucky to have her, and she will be sorely missed. Carol is preceded in death by her eldest son Glenn and is survived by her son Alan and her daughter Rebecca, by eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. She was a central figure in the Kinman family, and we will be meeting in Elk Grove on June 7th to honor her life and say goodbye.
