In Loving Memory of Birdie Mae Conyers

Birdie Conyers, born on August 3, 1929, in Screven, Georgia, peacefully passed away
on March 3, 2024 in Sacramento, CA. She was a beloved mother, wife, sister, and
friend who touched the hearts of many with her kind and compassionate spirit.

As a young child, Birdie's family relocated to Delray Beach, Florida, where she spent
her formative years. It was during this time that she developed a strong sense of love
for her family and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.

In her pursuit of new opportunities and a fresh start, Birdie moved to Sacramento,
California, as a young adult, following the footsteps of her beloved sister, Gladys
Smith. It was in Sacramento that Birdie's path crossed with the love of her life, Morris
Conyers. Their connection was instant, and their love story flourished.

Birdie and Morris were blessed with two wonderful sons, Kornell Conyers and Kim
Conyers. As a devoted mother, Birdie poured her heart and soul into raising her boys,
instilling in them values of kindness, integrity, and perseverance. She was their guiding
light, always offering support, encouragement, and unconditional love.

Beyond her role as a mother, Birdie was a cherished sister and friend. She had a gift for
making others feel seen and valued, and her warm presence brought comfort to those
around her. Birdie's infectious laughter and genuine smile were a reflection of the joy
she found in connecting with others.

Throughout her life, Birdie cherished the moments spent with her family. She had a
deep love for dancing (the Electric Slide), playing Bridge, watching the Sacramento
Kings play basketball on TV, the women only Super Bowl parties and especially visiting
with her great-grandchildren.

Birdie's legacy will live on through the memories she leaves behind. Her love, strength,
and unwavering faith will forever be cherished by her sons, Kornell and Kim, as well as
her extended family and friends. The impact she made on the lives she touched will
continue to resonate for generations to come.

As we bid farewell to Birdie, let us remember her for the love she shared, the laughter
she brought, and the strength she displayed. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing
that her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to
have known her.

"Though she may be gone, her love will forever guide us."
