Betty Everett, a resident of Elk Grove since 1977, passed away

Peacefully in her home due to complications of COPD.

Betty was fortunate to have her granddaughter as her caretaker.

She was born in Tunis North Carolina to Arthur Mae Womble and Walter Lloyd Womble.

Betty grew up in Suffolk, Virginia, where she met the love of her life,

Paul Lee Everett. Betty and Lee were married for 42 years until Lee's passing in 2009.

Betty worked in Special Education as an Instructional Assistant for many

years. A job she thoroughly enjoyed.

Betty loved to go on cruises with her husband and family. 

Venice was a favorite destination of hers.

She was quick witted and had a great sense of humor.

Betty was a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother and will be Dearly missed.

Betty was proceeded in death by her husband. Paul Lee Everett,

her daughter-in-law, Kim Everett, and her brother, Bobby Womble.

She is survived by her daughter, Beth Eller (Rick) of Sacramento & son, Paul Everett of Wilton.

Her grandchildren, Andrew (Lolli) Eller of Redmond Washington & Ashley Eller of Elk Grove, CA
