Betty May Summers

Betty May Summers, age 90 of Sacramento, CA. passed away on October 23, 2023.  She was born on February 16, 1933 in Wabeno, WI.

Betty was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family.  She is survived by her sister, Virginia Lee, her nephew Steven Lee and niece Pamela Lee.  Her daughter, Joan Reeme, son-in-law Kevin Reeme, her son Christopher Summers, and her grandchildren, Melissa Summers,  Levi and Allie Reeme, Collin and Mary Reeme , Matthew and Kendra Summers, Joshua and Haley Summers and her great grandchildren Donavan, Dion, Yvette, Jada, June, William, Everett and Aubrey.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Katherine Ogburn, her husband , Robert Summers, her son Michael Summers, her brother, Wayne Ogburn and her brother-in-law Richard Lee.

In her free time, Betty enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including knitting, crochet and reading.  She found great joy in creating beautiful quilts and spending time with her family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Betty’s life is currently pending.  Details regarding the service will be announced at a later date.

Betty May Summers will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
