Betty Jane Gillett (Hartwig)

July 6, 1940 - June 23, 2022

Betty recently relocated from Sacramento, California to Vancouver, Washington to be closer to her family and begin a new chapter in her life.

Sadly, with ongoing medical conditions and declining health, she passed away peacefully in her new home.

Betty was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, aunt, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Betty enjoyed going on adventures with her late husband Frank, and their motorcycle club. She was an avid bowler who took joy in sewing, embroidery, baking and spending time with her family. She loved the Lord and truly believed in the power of prayer.

Betty leaves behind, and will be deeply missed by her daughter, Denise Norton and husband Terry, granddaughter Ciara Castellanoz and husband Michael and daughter Mia, and granddaughter Tristyn Norton and daughter Emerie.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, brother-in-law, and her son.

Betty’s family wishes to thank everyone who has expressed and shown support during this difficult time. Your kindness means more than words can express.
