Betsy Adele Woodruff Kendrick

In Remembrance of Betsy Adele Woodruff Kendrick, 83, of Elk Grove, CA, who passed away on January 25, 2023. 

Betsy was born on May 26, 1939 to Ardell Woodruff and Ellen Jane Davis in Omaha, Nebraska.  Betsy was united in marriage to Robert "Leonard" Kendrick on September 30, 1960 in Sacramento, Ca, going on to have two children, Derek Kendrick and Shelley Kendrick Donovan. Betsy was a wonderful mother and doted on her children and grandchildren, she celebrated every milestone with her family and friends. She lit up the room and was always the life of the party. When you walked in the room she always had a smile on her face and was so warm and welcoming, everyone who met Betsy loved her. Betsy was a passionate artist and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness she was painting, decorating, gardening, cooking or chatting with her life long friends. Betsy worked as a realtor for Steele Realty in Elk Grove, Ca for 30 years. We will miss her greatly. Betsy was predeceased by her parents, brother, two sisters and  many friends. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Leonard Kendrick of Elk Grove, her son Derek Kendrick, daughter in law Lisa Kendrick (grandson Kody Kendrick (great-granddaughter Mylah Kendrick), granddaughter McKenzie Kendrick), daughter Shelley Donovan, son in law Sean Donovan (granddaughter Courtney Donovan, grandson Trevor Donovan) all of Elk Grove, Ca.
