Beatrice Ball

March 17, 1927 — May 16, 2025

Beatrice Taylor Ball answered her call to glory; on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 5am at home surrounded by family. She was born to the late Rosie and James Taylor of Holly Springs, Mississippi on March 17, 1927; She was one of 10 children. As a young child she joined Chulahoma Missionary Baptist Church of God in Christ of Memphis, Tennessee. Later she joined Bible Way Church of God in Christ of Memphis, Tennessee where she served as a Mother helping others for many years. Later she joined Mount Calvary Church of God in Christ where she served as Head Mother with over 30 years of service.

Beatrice married to lee Augusta Ball on July 1, 1951 until his death December 4, 2000. She is survived by her daughter Pearlie Merritt of Modesto, California, and her son Wayne Jones of Memphis, Tennessee.

Survived by one brother Simon Taylor and wife Ila of Holly Springs, Mississippi, one sister Rosie Taylor of Holly Springs, Mississippi, and her Sister-In-Law Shirley Taylor with husband Jessie of St. Louis, Missouri. She also leaves to mourn one granddaughter and grandson of Modesto, California, three great grandsons and two great grand daughters of Modesto, California. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, great, great great, and great great great nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends from Mississippi, Tennessee, California, and all over the United States to mourn her passing. 

We all love you and will forever cherish the long life you lived to be with us all.
