Avetis Khachatryan

November 13, 1963 — June 11, 2022

Avetis was born to Laura and Levon Khachatryan in 1963. He was the youngest in his family after Narine Harutunyan. In 1983, he graduated from Yegoryevsk Technical College of Aviation, and was awarded with the diploma in Aeronautical Engineering. He was employed with this title for a decade, while at the same time graduated with a Masters degree in Aeronautical Engineering at Air Moscow State Technical University. In 1993 he married Susanna Gevorgyan, who was the love of his life. In 1994 he joined the Armenian Military as a Platoon Commander. In 1996 first kin was born Arusyak (Rosie) Khachatryan; In 2000 second kin, Levon Khachatryan was born. As he continued serving in the military, he earned the title as a Deputy Cornell for the Armenian Military. Continuing into the late 2000’s he moved to the United States with his family. In 2012 he decided to participate in a study that the Jehovah Witness congregation offered.  Avetis was able to conform and change his life according to the Holy Bible. As a result of his Bible study, he believed that the Jehovah God’s Kingdom will solve all mankind’s problems. Avetis also was sure that the words recorded in the Bible book of Acts chapter 24, verse 15 will come true, where it says, “And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” We also hold the same hope that one day soon we will embrace our loved ones who will be resurrected to life, as promised by our Lord Jesus Christ in John 5:28, 29, “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.” On June 11, 2022 Avetis passed away as a Man with many titles. We honor and cherish every memory that was made with each one of us.
