Augusto Altamura

Augusto Altamura, 83, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024, at his home in Rancho Murieta, California. He was born December 1, 1940, in Trani, Italy, to Antonietta Altamura.

Augusto grew up in Italy before coming to the USA at the age of 19, with his mother. He was then able to sponsor his two brother's families to also come over from Italy. He continued to grow his family here in the states after meeting his wife Louise Altamura. They soon welcomed the late Ivan Altamura into this world and two grandchildren, Nikolas & Marina.

Augusto was a strong provider, and after starting his accounting firm, worked into his 80s because of his love for his job, the people he worked with, and his clients.

He was also extremely dedicated to his family, never hesitating to lend a hand where he could, and pass on wisdom from his extensive travels and experiences.

He is survived by his wife, two grandchildren, daughter in-law, and a plethora of extended family and friends.

A crypt side service will be held in Fresno, California, at 1:00pm, Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at St. Peter's Cemetery, in the St. Anthony's Chapel.
