Ann Barbara (Cain) Weber, 92, formerly of Rancho Cordova, passed away on 30 June 2026 due to advanced Alzheimer’s disease while residing at Sunrise of Rocklin Assisted Living in Rocklin, CA.
Barbara was born in Sussex, England on 14 April 1934. She was the youngest child of Robert and Violet Cain of Dover, Kent, England who preceded her in death as did her brother Bobby, sisters Rose and June, and her beloved husband, Dan. Surviving family members in the UK include her sister Josie and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived in the US by three stepsons, Robert (Jodi), James (Katie) and Thomas (Chun) and seven step-grandchildren.
Barbara immigrated to the US in 1963 and after living in several states settled in California in 1974. She worked for the State of California Employment Development Department in Sacramento, where she retired in July 1998.
In retirement, Barbara enjoyed traveling often with her husband, Dan. Those travels included visiting family and friends in England and Hawaii. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading, reciting poetry, singing older pop tunes, watching sports, and working alongside Dan on several daily crossword puzzles.
Barbara had a wonderful sense of humor, a warm smile, and a friendly disposition. She has been described by those who knew her as "one who never met a stranger."

Please consider a memorial donation to the national Alzheimer’s Association.
If I should die, think only this of me:
That there's some corner of a foreign field
That is forever England.
