Aniah Elise Moore

June 30, 2012 — January 11, 2022

Aniah Elise Moore was born Saturday, June 30, 2012 in Citrus Heights, CA to the proud parents of Earnest L. Jr. and Vanessa E. Moore. As a baby, Aniah became the epitome of happiness and joy which spread abroad to all! Her infectious smile attracted all who she came in contact with. Affectionately known as “Cupcake”, she never met a stranger. She always had a smile on her face, and a compliment ready to make others' day better.

On August 10, 2015, Aniah attended her first day of preschool at Center Preschool in Sacramento, CA. Aniah was so excited, she told both her parents goodbye without a blink. Aniah was the highlight of her class. She loved art, she enjoyed circle time that consisted of singing and dancing, and her favorite thing to do during recess was to ride the swing and to go down the slides. On April 12, 2016, while attending a second year at Center Preschool, Aniah was chosen to be “Super Kid”

of the month.

She got to pick out daily activities for her and her friends to do, silly songs to sing during circle time, and she was right in her element of being a baby boss to her peers. She truly was a leader at heart, and did so with so much love and grace. Aniah graduated from Center Preschool on May 24, 2016.Due to many health issues, Aniah was no longer able to attend public school. Aniah’s parents made the decision to follow the leading of the Lord and start her homeschool journey with Horizon Charter Schools based out of Lincoln, CA in August 2016. From Kindergarten to 4th grade, Aniah would face many challenges, health scares, and triumphs.

In March 2019, Aniah became ill which led her to fight for her life at UCDAVIS Medical Center in Sacramento, CA. With many gathering together to fast, pray, and bombard heaven on her behalf for her to be delivered from death’s door, God heard our cry and Aniah walked out of the hospital with all smiles on June 11, 2019. Cupcake was a bright child, a little girl who had the fight of a warrior within her. She loved God, she loved to sing and dance, and even in the most trying times of her health, she knew who she could call on – Jesus.

Over the course of her 9.5 years of life, it was a tough road, yet the hand of God was always manifested over her life. Cupcake truly was her parent’s miracle girl, and her life was a testimony of God’s healing power to everyone who knew her. Because the definition of her name means “God Answers” she lived out her name with honor. Over the last two years, Aniah lived her best life. While taking the necessary precautions to keep her safe from what was the beginning of a pandemic, Aniah enjoyed spending time with her parents, extended family, friends and she loved attending church! She was indeed a true praiser and worshiper! Aniah loved fashion, purses and sunglasses, and her favorite color was pink. She loved her hair wild, down and curly, and when her hair would be in twists and braids. She had a contagious laugh, and loved everything about life.

Aniah enjoyed being homeschooled , and learning new things. Aniah’s favorite school subjects were Math and ELA. She loved to learn about flowers, insects and outer space when Science was taught, and she loved role playing, being Doctor Aniah, and running her ‘Cupcake Daycare’ with her many baby dolls when it came to Social Studies. A few of her favorite songs over the course of her life were “I Can Go To God In Prayer” by Bishop Anthony L. Wills, “He’s Able” by Darwin Hobbs, “You Make Me Happy” by Tasha Cobbs, “Here I Am to Worship” by Hillsong, “King of Glory” by Cece Winans, “Son of God” by Nathaniel Bassey, and “Ole School Church Medley” by Fondrea Lewis.

Aniah has ministered to hundreds of people through her life, and fulfilled her God assignment in the Earth until the day she was called home on January 11, 2022. It is only the desire of her parents that many will continue to be blessed by her legacy.

In the words of Aniah, our sweet Cupcake, “You Poppin’ Girl!”
