Andrew William Lynch

Andrew Lynch, 52, of Elk Grove, CA and formerly of Ogdensburg, NY passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from health complications related to kidneys and heart.  He will be missed by his friends and family.

Andrew was born in Ogdensburg July 22, 1972 to Mary Otis Lynch. He attended Ogdensburg city schools before moving to California where he met Susan Sontra. They were married in a beautiful backyard ceremony on June 1, 2003. Together they had three children: Madeline, Elizabeth and Geran Lynch. 

Incredibly intelligent, but relatable and likable. He is remembered by his friends and family for his quick wit, pranks and jokes. Even when he was driving you crazy, his laugh was infectious. He was able to make friendly conversation with almost anyone; often making friends out of strangers. 
 Andrew’s biggest love next to family was music. He would often be found with a guitar in his hands, singing a song or two or four for anyone around. When he wasn’t perfecting covers he even wrote his own songs and recorded a couple solo and with his long time friend, Carl Perkins. 

He is survived by Susan, his children: Madeline, Elizabeth, and Geran and his mother-in-law, Bettie Lippincott, of Elk Grove, CA; His mother, Mary Otis, of Ogdensburg; His siblings: Jennifer Dashnaw, Katie Lynch, Colleen Lynch, Elizabeth (Dustin) Anderson, Peter Lynch, Matthew Lewis, and James Lewis.

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by a nephew, Cody Holland, father, William Lynch, and a brother, Brendan Lynch.
