Anacleto “Mac” Machorro, born in Woodland, California on July 13, 1944 to parents Juan Rojas Machorro and Vicenta Chacon.
Sadly, he passed unexpectedly at the age of 79, on November 18, 2023. He is survived by his 4 children, Renee, John, Salena, stepdaughter Natasha, and 14 grandchildren.
Mac honorably served his country from 1965 to 1967; while enlisted in the United States Army, his bravery during the Vietnam War earned him multiple medals, commendations and campaign ribbons.
Mac was well known for his passion for muscle cars. His expertise was highly sought after, especially by Pontiac and other muscle car enthusiasts. His notorious, award winning ‘65 GTO, sometimes referred to as the “BAKNBAD GTO”, or otherwise commonly known as “The Black Car,” was a reflection of his personality and stellar mechanic skills.
Mac’s friends and family loved him dearly for his selfless, caring, and generous heart. His positive energy and wonderful smile was contagious to all who were around him. His memory is a keepsake with which we will never part, God has him in his keeping and we will carry him in our hearts.
An honorable burial will be held at 11:00 am on November 30, 2023 at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery. 5810 Midway Road. Dixon, CA 95620.
