Amando Ureta Pereira, a Filipino by birth, served his country as a distinguished Marine and veteran of the US Armed Forces. He peacefully passed away at the age of 76 in his Elk Grove residence, leaving behind his cherished legacy of humility, integrity, and devotion to both his country and his family. He is survived by his four children, Melanie, Natalie, Erik and Cynthia; five grandchildren, Cyrus, Joshua, Emma, Daniel and Xander Leigh; and former wife Leila, who will always hold his memory dear.
