Amaiyah Stacy Woods, 19 years old, of Sacramento, California, passed away on August 6th, 2025 at 12:10pm, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born in Sacramento in 2006. Amaiyah lived each day with a joyful heart and unshakable spirit. Despite living with disabilities, she never let challenges define her. She was a bright light always smiling, always ready to share a laugh, and always finding ways to make those around her to feel special. A true social butterfly, Amaiyah had a gift for connecting with people and spreading happiness wherever she went.

Amaiyah’s love for music and dance was a defining part of who she was. Whether it was swaying to her favorite songs, and clapping along to a beat, or simply feeling the rhythm in her heart, music brought her joy and she shared that joy with everyone lucky enough to be near her.

Family and friends are all invited to attend share stories, and honor her remarkable life.

Amaiyah’s courage, warmth, and joy will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Her music may have ended, but her song will play in all of our memories.
