Almira Shumate

Our dear mom, Almira Shumate sadly passed away at her home in North Highlands, CA on March 6, 2022, at the age of 82. She loved to spend time in her yard gardening, collecting whirligigs, and solar yard decor. She will be remembered for her love and dedication to her family and for giving her all to others for nothing in return.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Jones (Aron), and sons Mark Shumate (Julie) and James Shumate. Beloved Nana to Curtis Buckley (Emily) and Kayla Weldon (Taylor). She adored her great-granddaughter, Quinn. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years, Eldon Wayne Shumate; and her parents: Vanchee & William Dunfield.

As per mom's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
