Stockton

Alfred Michael “Mykee” Balderama was escorted by God’s angels to eternal rest on Sunday, July 21, 2024 in Citrus Heights, California, surrounded by his family who loved him very much.

Mykee was born on January 15, 1975 in San Francisco, California. Mykee had varied interests and talents. As a child, Mykee, loved to be “in the know” about current events, which he enjoyed reporting to his family. As a teenager, Mykee discovered his passion for baking. He loved to change-up recipes to make it his own. As an adult, Mykee also found passion in cooking, especially pasta and his favorite Filipino dishes. He looked forward to the holiday season and carefully planned his holiday menu. Mykee also loved to sing and collect Beanie Babies of all sizes and matching trading cards, which he meticulously arranged and cared for as prized possessions. Whatever it was that Mykee had an interest in he did it wholeheartedly and with a lot of passion. He was a big kid at heart.

Mykee’s family will deeply miss him are comforted in knowing that Mykee has reunited in heaven with his niece, Mariah, his grandmother “Loli” and his Grandpa John, and Step-Dad Papa Paul. We are certain that Mykee and Mariah are already making “Loli” and Grandpa John laugh hysterically with their silly antics. They will definitely never be lonely in heaven with Mykee and Mariah by their side.

Mykee provided his family with so many interesting moments and humor, which are memories his family will cherish forever until we reunite with him, Mariah, Papa Paul, “Loli” and Grandpa John. We will cherish the unique nicknames he gave each of us as terms of endearment.

Alfred Michael “Mykee” Balderama was preceded in death by his grandfather, John J. Andras, Sr., in 1990, loving grandmother, Loretta Peralta Andras, in 2020, and beloved niece, Mariah Irene Stargen in 2021.

Mykee is survived by his mother (Irene Peralta Steakin), father (Alfredo Balderama), older sister (Katherene Lee Soriano), younger brother (Gerald Paul Urmeneta), aunt (Mary Ann Peralta Andras), uncle (David Gregory Peralta Andras), nephews (Joseph Patricio Soriano, Dean Matthew Urmeneta, Gerald Paul Urmeneta Jr.), nieces (Jocelyn Elizabeth Soriano, Amiely Gabrielle Urmeneta, Jenesis Loretta Steakin, Penelope Madrigal Urmeneta).
